Occupational health and safety policy (OHS)

· A reliable company, known for providing a safe and healthy working environment for its employees and those working on its projects

· Promote that safety and health are a priority in the work of employees and all measures at the workplace are aimed at reducing risks and reducing hazards

· Promote increased health, safety and working environment awareness among employees and those who work on projects by Orkuvirki, – through education and training

· Follow the laws and regulations relating to occupational health and safety and the working environment, together with the special requirements set by customers in these areas

Environmental policy

· Resources are used economically, materials and equipment are reused and waste and hazardous materials are disposed of in an orderly and responsible manner. Design and construction must aim to limit disturbance to the environment and the living environment

· Define the environmental aspects of the activity, manage them and monitor results

· Follow environmental laws

· have an effective management system and operate according to an internationally certified environmental management system (according to ISO 14001). Continuous improvement in operations is made on regular basis.

Equal pay policy

· Implement, document and maintain an equal pay system based on the equal pay standard ÍST 85:2012 and in accordance with law no. 150/2020 on equal status and equal rights of the sexes

· Conduct a salary analysis at least annually comparing jobs of equal value to ensure that there is no gender pay gap. The main results must be presented to the employees

· Respond to unexplained pay gaps through continuous monitoring and improvement where needed

· Present an equal pay policy to employees and make it available to the public
